Well, this is a surprise.
For those who didn’t already know, 悪魔と恋する10日間 Heaven’s Kiss was originally announced to be released back in January. January came and went, so did the months that followed, with no word on what happened to Heaven’s Kiss. The source who informed me of the possible release eventually told me that any indication of the game’s release had up and disappeared. Along with the game being taken down from one of Japan’s app pre-registration sites, it didn’t look too good for the release. Not only that, but the Android and iOS version of the game was ultimately pulled from both the Google Play Store and iTunes Stores in March, now making it impossible to download, install, and play the game on either platform. And even if you did manage to install it, players are no longer able to purchase any stories from the game. Fortunately (kind of) for players who have already made purchases, they are still able to play the game if they still have it installed on their devices. Uninstalling it, though, will delete the game from their device and, with no way to download and install it again, players will not be able to play again. As Izumi told me, about a month after the removal of the game from the app stores, the monthly version was also taken down. As each month passed, I continued to wonder what happened. With no word from Voltage about the game, I came to believe that the release had ultimately been cancelled.
Finally, on May 27th, Voltage Inc. released the above video along with an announcement that 悪魔と恋する10日間 Heaven’s Kiss will be released, but not in the way that we’re all used to. While I had believed that Heaven’s Kiss would be released in its own individual app, the same way as Love Duet and Love Mission, Heaven’s Kiss is set to be released… as a LINE game.
Now I can’t say I’ve done anything more than take a quick look at the LINE messaging app, so I have no idea how this will work. I will try to get the game, but no guarantees.
So far, it looks like the usual new social game aspects are staying. When you pre-register, you will get a set containing 5 Diamonds, 5 Love Passes, and a hair avatar item for the game.
As said in the previously mentioned post, the voice cast is still the same, with only Kakeru, Satoru, and Shiki being available at the time of release. It will be partially voiced and, judging from the PV, it looks like the Live2D will still be part of the game, though will not be part of the actual story playing as we might have believed. And, as with all social games,… well, I would say that it’s safe to assume that the story will be different, but with the removal of the Android and iOS versions…. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
It is set to be released sometime this Summer.

So they only released it as a line game o___o, but they still revamp the artwork and it’s also voiced, so they didn’t completely abandon this ^^; I’m curious tho whether there will be a lot of “cancelled” old games that they will turn as SNS games…since we’re already have celebrity darling, room share, koi tenka, and now this one…I really want 真夜中のジュリエット and even キミを愛する,何度でも despite I never really like amnesia theme on my games.
Btw, since you’re still playing bmp : P, Is the translation is very unbearable and inaccurate ? and is the game play tedious ? One of my friend is asking me whether the translation and the gameplay is really worth the time and money, she can’t read Japanese so love tiara is out of question orz. I know that she probably going to struggling a lot of time since I’ve seen people complaining about the events ; ;

It’s as if they decided last minute, “Hey, let’s not release it as we initially planned to and make it for LINE.” I thought it was just that Voltage took some of their popular games and made a social version? Dunno about Tenka, though…. Ugh, I want those games, too ;A;
Basically, yeah. Zen’s Birthday Event, from the little I’ve read, isn’t as bad it seems. There’s still stupid changes to thinks that don’t need changes to, and a few line changes/mistranslations. I really can’t stand the translations, and it looks like the event stories are what’s getting the most of it. I’m really worried that Zen’s route is going to be just as bad ; ; I really wish there was a way to direct your friend to the GREE version instead…. I was thinking of doing something like where I make a flash/Ren’py version of the game using GREE’s translations, but I don’t think Voltage would like that >>;; (I actually wanted to do it when the GREE version was shut down and before the PARTY version was announced). Unfortunately, it wouldn’t have included the new stories because I can’t translate for my life…. The events are absolutely ridiculous! Unless you have high LF mates and/or money to spend, it’s almost impossible to full clear these events. I can’t even half clear them = =
June 2, 2015 at 10:59 pmI’m guessing 悪魔 it’s not really that popular so instead they risk it by released as stand alone app, they decide to release it as line game…and It seems some of their “love” series didn’t do well, like MSB love mission and Celebrity darling…Well, If I’m not wrong, most of the app version from those series are used to be quite popular (during 2009-2010 era), so they decide to revamp the artwork and released it as SNS ^^; I remember seeing either nobunaga and yukimura on the ikemen award during 2009 or 2010…Talking about those old apps makes me miss BMP a lot ; ; I even miss update for bmp season 2 too ; ;
Ah I see…I’m going to tell her then ^^; I know the translation is become more ridiculous, the heroine is more and more become more different from the Japanese counterpart, I’ve seen the one where Zen is half naked and she said something like “mother of pie” or whatever is that and I’m just like D: Uh I doubt Voltage are going to like that, since they have become more stricter when it come to sharing their media to public…So the events is more harder than the gree version ? I doubt she want to play it if you must end up spend a lot of money just to finish some routes ^^; I guess she will stick to the app version then, thank you for your information ! :D

Yeah, I have both of those installed, and I can’t really remember the last time I got any notifications for them. I still get some for Love Days, though. Tenka in the Ikemen Awards ;A; You can pretty much tell which games were the most popular by whether or not they sold merchandise for it. I know, me too ; ;
IT HAS AND IT’S ANNOYING. It’s kind of bad in the Main Stories from the little I’ve read (I’ve skipped them, too), but it’s absolutely ridiculous in the events! I can’t even recognize the heroine anymore! I know ; ; I know someone who has wanted to start playing BMP: P, but the translations are putting them off, and I felt like I should do it because I feel really bad that she didn’t get to play the GREE version. I’d like to try it out and give it to personal friends, but things still have a way of getting out…. Yup. I can’t even half clear an event, and I’m doing the exact same things I did in GREE that let me full clear. = = Unless you put in work to clear what you want, you won’t be able to do it ; ; You’re welcome! I remember the earliest ikemen award when Wilfred is at 3rd rank on popularity…and there’s also Joshua and Zen on top 20 ; ; now they didn’t even participate on ikemen award anymore and most of the characters are new…Haha I remember seeing the merchandise for BMP, PIL, CD…they even have perfume and lipgloss right ? and If I’m not mistaken I’ve seen the accessories too like necklace…
btw, have you tried the newest sns games ? the mirror princess and the hanayori dango, I’m currently playing the mirror one, and so far it’s pretty good but the avatar is pretty plain compared to bmp love tiara and mfw love ring ^^; I tried to play hanayori dango but the app crash everytime I register my name orz.
Basically the event’s translation is more absurd compared to the main stories o___o ? Have you tried to contact the voltage party team on tumblr or email ? I remember send a message via tumblr explaining the whole translation, and I didn’t get any reply -__-, tried to contact via email, they said they have their own standard and they don’t want to change the translation orz, and the sad part is, people seems didn’t care to seeing the heroine swearing like that because they think it’s hilarious . I guess that standard for any voltage’s sns game, the events are pretty tedious and you must spend money if you want to finish all the endings -__-, I just recently start playing the mirror one, and in span of one week they released like 3 diamond gacha, and they cost like 2-5 diamond for one spin…I probably only focused on the main stories orz, since they probably going to released the first event within this week ; ;

I haven’t heard of their Gossip Girl game being that popular, Kagami no Naka no Princess is still brand new, and Hana Yori Dango is like a cross between the first two (still brand new, no guarantee of popularity/success).

YES IT IS. Comparing the heroine in the events to the Main Stories, it’s like she’s not even the same person! At least with the original bad writing, you could still tell the heroine was still the same heroine as the Main Stories. Can’t say the same now = = I haven’t. I’m afraid that if I do, I might sound rude or come off as… how to say… just, coming off as a way that I don’t intend. Every time I talk about it with someone, I end up going off on a ranting or rambling tangent >>;; Wtf??? What kind of standard is butchering the characters and turning them into people they’re not??? Keith has no problem using a sexist slur against a woman we’re supposed to believe he’s head over heels in love with, Edward was once painted as a rupophobe by two characters despite it never having been touched on before or after again, Claude is even more antagonistic than he actually is, and the heroine isn’t allowed to have an actual proper thought without it being changed to a mindless “Sweet/Holy mother of-” as if asking herself “What should I do?” is stupid! What kind of standard is that!? It annoys me when people say it’s hilarious because these aren’t the characters I fell in love with. I talked to someone who didn’t know about the translation changes because she hadn’t played the GREE version, and she became very upset when I explained it to her. It made me wonder how many people were only okay with the new translations because they didn’t play the GREE version or the Japanese version and, therefore, don’t have anything to compare it to. I’m playing these games so that I can read the story as it originally was, to see the characters as they originally were, to see the events and interactions as they originally were, and in the hopes of falling in love with everything about it as it originally was and intended to be, all in a language that I can actually understand. If I wanted to read something way off the mark of it, I wouldn’t even be playing these games! I fell in love with BMP for multiple reasons, and the BMP: P translations took all that and threw all of them out the window. How could I not be upset about it???

June 6, 2015 at 1:26 pmI forgot that gossip girl is originally a novel and TV series ^^; ah yeah you’re right, both mirror princess and hanayori is pretty new series which didn’t have a stable fanbase, and even hanayori is quite popular, but it’s pretty dated shoujo manga and I doubt people know the manga since most people only know the korean drama adaption lol, but then again did love ballad get voiced too ?
Oh that poll, I also see that lol. I’m not surprised to see Ichigo will be participated since he was the most popular haha ^^; and maybe Reiji too, since he used to participate on past ikemen award…I’m so disappointed that bmp season 1 & 2 didn’t get this poll ; ; I’ve read some Japanese blogs and those bloggers keep wishing that voltage can continue both bmp season 1 & 2, I’m still pissed off that voltage didn’t give season 2 princess sequel orz. Hanayori already out since Wednesday If I’m not mistaken…I can’t give any impression since the game still crashing to me –” For mirror princess, I found the hardest thing is to increasing the princess factor (same as BMP’s royal factor), It’s really hard to even get the 65,000 point (for clearing the happy ending) since you only get like 100 – 200 points when doing princess training thing lmao, and the answers for this game is pretty vague, so there’s lot of trial and error especially most people haven’t write any guide orz, as for sweet route it’s the same like the other SNS games, you must use real money to get the sweet route ^^; and you only get like 4 CG per character, the last one is from the happy ending. I only like Joseph so far, after that I maybe tried Ruka but I’m still unsure..
Geez, why the translator and the editor ruined the heroine like that -__-, I get that they want to expanding their market, but it doesn’t mean they can butcher the translation, I already seen some screenshot from tumblr, and seeing the heroine constantly said “holy mother of-” is really turning me off -__-. Ah, I know that, not to mention most of the time they barely replied to any of ask, especially with things like translation and events distribution. Yeah, I already explained to them that I didn’t like how they make the heroine swearing constantly, Keith using sexist slur and degrade the heroine, and so on and forth, they said they didn’t want to make the game same as the old gree version so they make a lot of change. People seems like the heroine constant swearing since it’s make her more *~sassy*~ which also mean “strong” heroine -__-. I don’t know if you browse the SAC tag on tumblr, but people are complaining about the heroine makes my blood boil, the game take set on feudal Japan era, and I don’t think having the heroine swearing and act pretty sassy is really appropriate orz.
Yeah and they currently having some kind of “room reform” and If you want to get all the set, you need to spend lot of money -__-, I pretty much only play mirror princess for Joseph lol, so I don’t want spend too much money for that ^^;

Yeah, but is it that popular in Japan? I know it used to be extremely popular here in the US. I think, at least. Even with Hana Yori Dango’s popularity, would it be enough just to have a game for people to play it even if they’re a fan of the series? I don’t think Love Ballad got voiced. Oh lol! So does Voltage’s game work for you? Agh, I see. Oh really? I thought there would have been completed guides by now o__o Do you still need a guide? I can probably ask my source if they can make one. Not sure if they can, but it wouldn’t hurt to ask. I just started playing it. I’m going pretty slow since I have to put everything through a translator, but it seems pretty interesting so far. I’m thinking of going in order again, so I’ll start with Luca when I get to character selection.
I KNOW. It’s a really big turn off, and I can’t even read correctly because everytime something like that turns up, it kicks me out of the game atmosphere = = Wtf??? I’m thinking of sending them an e-mail, too, now, because wtf????? Making her “sassy” doesn’t make her stong. In certain situations, I can see how it could, but it’s only making her sound rude, disrespectful, superficial, and constantly annoyed all the time here. If I wanted to read about a character like that, I’d go to reading Voltage USA games. The heroine in White Lies is basically like that, but I can swallow it because that’s apparently how she was intended to be. It doesn’t apply to the BMP: P heroine >____> Ah, I don’t. I don’t look in any of the tags for any of the games because I know I’m going to see something from the fandom that I’m not going to like. = = Is it the stupid “she’s not strong!!” arguement? I wanted to give the room reform a try, but it doesn’t look like I can get through the Common Route for free, so I wouldn’t be able to complete it even if I tried OTL I saw Joseph’s ending rewards, and they were so pretty! ;A; Agh, looking at them again, I might go for Joseph instead adgkjadlkgjalg How does getting the endings work? I see there is LoveLove and Harem endings? Are the requirements different for each one? Or is it like the usual endings where only one really needs a set amount of stats for it?
I saw one of the few events were, like, paired routes. Like the entire route was with two of the guys, and they each had their own ending in the route. I’m it’s on the usual “one route per character” thing now, but I haven’t tried playing any of them….
June 7, 2015 at 8:44 pmWell, seeing the manga has a spin off, a live drama adaption (along with the remake for Taiwan, Mainland China and Korean version) and two games so far, I think the series has quite large fanbase ^^; I’m certainly sure some people will play the voltage version when it’s come out since I know lot of people prefer the other guys than the main guy lol. Oh I see…I thought love ballad also has a voice like love tiara ^^;

Most voltage’s game still working to me, except love&job…the game freeze after I finished the prologue lol and I didn’t bother to try again since I didn’t like the game. So far I’ve only seen guide for Joseph, so can you ask your source for Luca’s guide ? since I’m going after him today lol, I’m still can’t believe that I manage to get Joseph’s love ending o___O since I choose lot of wrong answer back then haha ^^; From what I seen, it seems Luca has a love triangle on his route ? That’s from what I heard from my friend who doing his route…
It a big turn off indeed…I mean, the game itself has a royalty setting and why they end up screw the translation and makes everyone speak like a sailor ಠ_ಠ. It so sad that people didn’t care about the translation quality and just complaining about events, but seeing how people on tumblr are liking the new translation, I’m not surprised that voltage think that bmp : party translation is more “better” than the gree version…Ugh that’s what I think earlier, she sounds like the heroine from white lies thanks to the constant swearing…Yeah, the complaint for SAC’s heroine is old same, “why she’s very weak?” geez…
I forgot whether I managed to finish the common route without using any money or not ^^; and yeah the reward for Joseph’s route is so pretty ! I really tempted to finish both the love and harem ending since I love the rewards *___*.
For the ending, after you finish chapter 14, you can choose whether you want to pick the love or harem route, for love route, you must have 65,000 princess point and 120 love point. For harem’s route you must have 55,000 princess point and from what I see, there’s no minimum requirement for love point…you can still choose harem’s route even if you have the requirement for love ending for instance. You can increase the love point from collecting clothes and furniture too, but they didn’t increase a lot compared to choosing right answer on each chapter.
I see…they haven’t release any new characters beside nobunaga – akechi, yukimura – saizo, and masamune – kojuuro ? Since I’ve seen lot of characters like Ieyasu and Kenshin o___o, I still don’t know how the events goes if voltage released all the characters…

Then again, hardcore fans will try anything and everything having to do with it, so there’s that. Nah, no voices. I think only the app version had voices for one character, though.

Yeah, the prices are crazy for the fanbooks. I would kill for a BMP fanbook! *A* The cheapest I’ve seen one on auction is for $100, and most don’t even come with the bookmarks ; ; I did get the Tenka fanbook! I think it was one of the first ones I got~ I have a few drama CD’s, but not of BMP. I have the first Tenka CD and the PiL CD~ The Celebrity Darling CD’s are way too expensive ; ;
Ah, I see. Oh, my source got back to me with a guide, so I’ll post it up here soon. They said they haven’t completed the route yet, so it’s again one of those that might have wrong answers, but it’s better than nothing? Do let me know if there is a wrong answer anywhere so I can fix it. I’ll try using it in the mean time, too. Oh, maybe it’s like Love Tiara where you don’t have to get all exact right answers? Like you need 100 Chemistry, but getting all the right answers makes you go over 100 Chemistry. I have no idea, I’m still in Common Route ; ; My source says that if I end up really liking Luca, though, I might cry ; ;
Exactly, especially when it comes to the Princes. They’re freakin royals, they wouldn’t speak in that kind of way. They were raised better than that = = I hate the translation so much…. I keep thinking, “She didn’t say that, he didn’t say that, theY DIDN’T SAY THAT!” I really want to switch to Love Tiara but ugh, I wouldn’t know half of what’s going on = = Ugh, you would think that the fandom would come to accept that the heroines aren’t going to be the stereotypical “strong” heroines that they want. Oh, I don’t know? I looked at the album, and there’s 9 characters, but the last three only have stories in the album. No illustrations, and they don’t show up for Main Story selection. I think they’re event-like stories, kind of like the Epilogues? I haven’t been keeping much attention to it ; ; The events still only use the first six characters, so I’m not sure, either….

Oh I see…It’s shame tho that it didn’t get voiced like love tiara ^^; ah yeah I remember that spin off, It’s the Masamune special spin off and the last update we get for the Japanese version ; ;
I’m guessing bmp didn’t have the popularity like it used to be ? I remember the 2013 end of year award, Ivan is placed at 11th and Wilfred at 20 something ; ; both Sieg and Max end up at 30 something orz…and I remember when Wilfred ranked at 3rd ; ; I’m not blaming it though, back at 2013 the update for bmp season 1 is very scarce…voltage only released spin off and we didn’t get any update for the sequel or what not -__-” .
Ugh yeah the bmp, metro pd, LLFTX and Cinderella fanbook is always cost $100…I used to see someone sell the PIL fanbook at like $50, but the bid war is pretty intense so I gave up lol. I know that, the Celebrity Darling CD is pretty expensive orz, I know that both drama CD for bmp and MSB are also pretty expensive…Oh you have the PIL drama CD ^^, It’s pretty rare too from what I heard..
Yes It’s like love tiara, I’m pretty sure I was screwed up the answers lot of time, but end up having like 124 love point thanks to furniture and closet items that I have lol. The answers is very vague and there’s lot of chance you end up screwed up a lot >__>. Don’t worry about the common route thing, you can learn about the guys first before choosing which one you want to play ^^; and when you already finish the common route, you can have a small peek for the guy’s route…hence why I didn’t choose Luca route first since there’s a love triangle happened >__> and it’s seems the route will be a little bit angst ?
Yes It’s very weird to see someone who raised on strict household to swearing like that >_>, I think the translation can be worked if they used it on PIL for example, but using it on BMP it’s pretty weird and didn’t make a sense orz. I’m 100% believe that people won’t stop hating on the heroine as long as the heroine is not their clone or whatnot lol, I mean I used to see a user on tumblr who complained about the heroine’s eyes on CG and said that it’s not her anymore but it’s the heroine own character…I know that most people are self insert when playing those game, but complaining about the heroine having her own character is pretty weird >___>.
All of his rewards are so beautiful *___*, and since I like him a lot, I don’t think it’s a pain to replay his story again lol. The Cinderella one is forcing you to pay for an item if you didn’t get enough love point ? It’s sounds like the old mobage games where you must buy an item for increase the love point since answering the correct answer is not enough to get the best ending lmao.
Hmm, It seems they indeed adding some few characters but their stories is not out yet ? I guess there will be events where you can chase after them ^^; Do you frequently play love ballad ? or just play it for the events ?

It’s kind of hard for it to keep its popularity when the games aren’t getting updated anymore…. The tiny one or two updates they did not too long ago don’t count. I think I remember that ;A; I managed to get a LLFTX fanbook, and the condition as listed as “new” ψ(｀∇´)ψ I even managed to get a bag charm and the postcard set with it~ I got the Room Share fanbook with bookmarks, and I saw another one go up for auction with only the fanbook for $300 ヽ(。_゜)ノ I got the PiL fanbook! No bookmarks, though ; ; I did see one before that started as $15, but the bid war made the price skyrocket ; ; Yeah, the PiL CD was cheap when I saw it, and it was Buy Now, so I jumped on it before someone else could!
Oh, that’s nice, though. It might be a bit time consuming to make up the love points, but at least there’s a way to do it without paying. Ooo then I’ll see! I always try to play in order unless I already know the characters, so I expected to do Luca first. But Joseph’s rewards…. Yeah, it looks like Luca’s might have angst and feels, hence why my source said I might want to cry if I end up liking him lol ; ;
Exactly! Even if they’re still just people, they’re raised better tha that. I hardly think they could get away with anything like that >____> PiL is a good example of where it’s fitting, but the BMP setting is not the place for it. Yeah, there will always be hate for the heroine for any little reason. = = That IS weird. A lot of people complain that she’s too “flat” with “no character”, and now they complain that she does…?
THEY ARE. Aaaahhhh I’m looking forward to his route now~ Yeah, it’s not possible to get the best ending in Cinderella with just making the right choices because they don’t give enough Chemistry, so you either play the gacha or pay with Gems. I spun the gacha at least 30 times and only got 1 Chemistry ( ´_ゝ`) I gave up and just went with the middle end….
At least that’s what it looks like? I have no idea, though. Nah ; ; I never got to trying it seriously, and I only peek in every now and then to see what’s going on.
