*Note: I’ve had this sitting the the Drafts and I don’t feel like editing it, so just ignore the tense of it and all. It was officially announced in a My Forged Wedding notification earlier today and you can read the Prologue in the Winter Love: Melt Your Heart Sub Story.
The prize is CEO in this Savage Wedding Game!
You were just a typical office worker dreaming of a happy marriage.
Now the company’s alpha males are proposing to you…?!
Each tries to seduce you, all sharing one goal…
Marry you… to become CEO!
“This isn’t how I want to get married!”
Or so you thought…
So the next game in line to be released in English is this one. Not much else to say about the game since I’ve already posted about it before, but you can read just a bit more about it here (just uh don’t expect any legit useful info on there).
I’m told that the title of the English release will be My Wedding and 7 Rings. A strange title, but I guess. Asahi’s Main Story and Epilogue and My Forged 7 Rings Sub Story, a crossover with My Forged Wedding, will be available upon release. It also looks like, once again, we will not be having the Invite a Friend Campaign, though at this point it might be better to not expect to get them anymore. We will, however, have the campaign for both this game and My Forged Wedding that the Japanese version had when it was initially released in Japan. The Japanese version had the Prologue available on 恋cafe before the game was released, so maybe we can get the English version on Sweet Cafe? Then again, Voltage didn’t do that for Scandal in the Spotlight, but we never know with them so….
It is set to be released in early April.
There hasn’t been any official announcement on the release yet, so keep your eyes open for any announcements on Voltage Inc.’s Facebook page!
Happy playing!

March 23, 2015 at 2:23 pmI have a question about the game o – o);; is this an alternative universe or not? If not, then which one took place first? MFW or the new one? And what happened to the previous MC if it’s not an AU (I mean, if MFW first, what happened to MFW’s MC and if MWA7R’ first, what happened to the MC?) I’m sorry if I confuse you, since English is not my firsr language, I messed up a lot in explaining what I mean..
March 24, 2015 at 1:29 amYour English is fine! I understood what you were trying to say ^^
Aaahhh I have no idea. Yamato’s route says that the events of MWa7R takes place after MFW since Yamato mentions lying about having a fiance to get a job at an all-girl’s high school before getting the job he has in this game, but he never got into a fake marriage. He makes no mention of having met or was going to meet someone who would pretend to be his wife, so it’s suggested that he never even knoew the heroine of MFW even ever existed.
Here’s my opinion, though:
Personally, I’m not accepting it as anything other than an AU. I guess you can consider it an AU like how the social versions are AU since they’re different from the app versions. The story and characters are altered in the social versions, but the app versions are still canon. It’s the same universe/game title/characters/story concept/etc, but they’re still two different games with their own storylines and characters. Like how the writer for the social versions are usually different than the writer for the original/app version, the heroine’s are always different than the app version, the route storylines are different from the app version, even the characters are different from the app version, and they all around share few details. Like with those games, I don’t think MFW and MWa7R should be connected to each other as anything other than being from the same series. Or rather, that MWat7R is a spin-off. Even with shared settings and characters, all canononical events/facts don’t always carry over from one game to the other. Does that make sense? An example would be Wilfred’s arranged marriage in BMP. In the app version, he’s only willing to go through with it because it’s a responsibility of his to do even though he really doesn’t want to do it. In the social version, he is completely against it because he believes he’s getting in the way of Stephan’s and Cecile’s happiness and uses the heroine to try of break off the engagement. The arranged marriage is still a part of both stories, but they’re handled very differently.
If anything, just take into consideration that MFW came out first. It was written first, it was made first, and I can practically guarantee you that the writer of MWat7R is not the same writer as MFW, which for me is enough reason to not consider it as canon when considering MFW.
